ExperienceI've been reporting in and around the Twin Cities since 1993. In September of 2006 I moved back to Mankato, where I was born and where most of my family lives. Caroline's Kitchens is owned by my sister Caroline, McGowan Water is run by my brother Mike, and Dad has created and hosts History Fest and other local events.My most extensive experience is in labor, reporting arbitrations, EEOC and workers' compensation depositions, and Q & A's. I have worked for Northwest Airlines, Champion Air, and Mesaba Airlines, including most of the labor unions representing the employees of these firms. They have entrusted me with very highly confidential matters. I have done plenty of insurance work, including expert witnesses in a wide variety of disciplines, from medical doctors to sound engineers. I have worked with Allstate, American Family, State Farm, and many others on matters involving arson, auto collision, fraud, theft, and more. You can see that I have also been very active in The Court Reporters Forum, one of many Netscape forums (f.k.a. CompuServe forums), where I enjoy helping other reporting professionals in questions of grammar, spelling, and punctuation. (Note that you can now read and post messages in these forums for free.
